Celebrating Motherhood Studio Event

In my 16 years of motherhood and 15 + years of running a photography business, I found that in most families Moms are always the ones who take photos of their kids (and their husbands with their kids) but they are rarely in any photos. I want to change that – I want every Mom to have beautiful images, images that capture love and awe we all have for our kids, images that capture fun we have with them, images that capture quiet moments we share with them.  And the Celebrating Motherhood event at my Ridgewood photo studio will let you do that!  I’ve done it a few times prior to COVID and it always was a smashing success . And now, after a 5 year break, I looking forward bringing this event back to the studio this year.

To make sure you you feel pampered, I will have a professional makeup artist at the studio to help you look your absolute BEST. And you are welcome to invite grandmas to the session – I love capturing multi-generational photos.

I have a handful of these sessions available so if you want to treat yourself (and/or your Mom/Mother-in-Law) to beautiful photos that everybody will love, reach out to me as soon as possible to book your spot. I promise you, you will be glad you did!

RHS Jamboree – a 78 year old tradition of raising scholarship funds for RHS seniors

Having lived in Ridgewood for over 15 years, I’ve heard about RHS Jamboree – a variety show that parents of Ridgewood High School students put together to raise funds for college scholarships for graduating seniors. I saw my first Jamboree show last year when a friend of mine participated in it – I was so amazed by the show that I decided to participate in it the following year. And I am so glad I did! For the 5.5 weeks starting in January, I rehearsed for hours and hours and hours with many other parents of RHS students (our cast was over 130 people!) – we sang, and danced and performed in skits and did all kinds of things! Those 5.5 weeks as exhausting and definitely sleep deprived (I finally caught up on my sleep deficit) but I had a blast!!

We put on a great show (Victor said he liked it better than more than 50% of broadway shows he’d seen!) and raised over $244K for graduating seniors. And in case you were wondering who the top newbie fundraiser was – wonder no more – it was ME:)

2023 Photo Sessions Highlights | Bergen County photographer

Every January I look through the sessions I did the year prior and put together a video of highlights (don’t worry – if you ever asked me not to share your images I respect that and images from those sessions are not included of this video). Last year I did everything from family photo sessions, children photo sessions, headshots sessions, commercial photo sessions and personal branding sessions.

Want to see awesome people I got to work with last year? Then check out this video!

Another Industry Recognition!

Guess whose images received an Honorable Mention at ClickinMoms Voice International Photography Competition this year? This girl’s!!!

You may think ‘enough with these competition already, how many time can she write about them?!’ It does seem that I’ve received a lot of recognition this year – I guess I am pretty good at what I do:). But in all seriousness, Voice competition receives around 40,000 entries every year and only 500 of those are placed or awarded ‘Honorable’ mention so the fact that two of mine made the cut makes me very very happy!
