This Ridgewood family photo session could not have been more perfect – two adorable kids, two laid-back parents, cute outfits, perfect weather, and lots and lots of hugs and laughter – if that’s not a recipe for a great session then I don’t know what is:)

I’ve photographed these kids once before – they came to my Ridgewood studio for a studio holiday mini session last year.   I was amazed at how much they grew and changed in less than a year.   Little brother P. turned from a crowing baby  into a super energetic happy toddler who seems to be always on the go:)  Big sister A., who was described by her mom as a bit shy, was so warm and open – she held my hand, and was ASKING me to take pictures of her here and there!

We wanted to capture lifestyle and unposed family images, which is what I am known for! and decided on a park in Wyckoff for this family session.  I love photographing kids and families there – it looks beautiful in all seasons and is a safe place for little ones to run around and have fun.  And have fun is what we did!    In their pre-session questionnaire this Mom mentioned that she wanted lifestyle images that captured her kids happiness and natural smiles and I think it is safe to say that this objective have been met!
