For newborn sessions. more often than not, new parents want traditional newborn images – sleepy squishy newborns all cuddled up and looking very peaceful.  I love these shots – delicate features, perfect tiny fingers and toes, belly bottons (in some cases still with umbilical cord attached) – what’s not to love?!   But I realized that my favorite newborn images are the lifestyle ones – those that capture the unconditional love of new parents towards their baby, a kiss planted on the baby’s head or a giggle, moments when a family grows and changes and welcomes a brand new member with open arms.   It is only natural that people feel most confortable and ‘at home’ in their own homes and that’s why I travel to clients’ homes for all my newborn sessions all over Bergen county, as well as Hoboken and New York city.

And now let’s talk about my latest lifestyle newborn session.  If you’ve been following my blog for a while then this family will look familiar.  I was privileged to see this family’s journey from becoming a couple, to getting engaged, married, having their first baby and now welcoming a brand new baby boy!  He was absolutely perfect and a great little model – fell asleep right away and slept through most of the session.  It was very special for me to capture this milestone in their lives – I am so happy that I can do what I LOVE and give my clients a priceless gift of memories!
