Lots of love, snuggles and laughter in Wyckoff

I posted a sneak peek from this session already and here is a session spotlight of a great family session I had in Bergen County a few weeks ago.  This session was very special to me because it was a veeerrry long way in the making.  You see, this Mom first contacted me about 2.5 years ago when her baby boy was just born about a newborn/baby session.   She told me that my photography was so beautiful that she herself wanted to go back to school and become a photographer!  At that time my prices were over her budget and we did not have a session but she continued to follow me, participate in my contests, comment on my posts.  Now fast forward two years and we finally had a chance to meet for her family session. J. told me that when, prior to the session, her husband asked which photographer they were going to see, she replied that it was the photographer they should’ve used two years ago:)

It was wonderful to finally meet this family in person and I am glad that now they have their own version of family images done by me that they love.  Little guy D. was a pleasure to photograph – not only is he super cute but he is very sweet to boot!   He loved chasing after bubbles, cuddling with his Mom, being thrown up in the air by his Dad and exploring this beautiful park in Wyckoff, that looks beautiful this time of year.   We had this session during the golden hour and the light was absolutely perfect – soft and golden.  The park where we had the session – James McFaul Environmental Center – looked absolutely stunning with fields of wild daisies that not only show beautifully in images but also keep toddlers mesmerized:)

It may sound a bit cliche but I absolutely love capturing kids, parents, their special connections and moments and the love they have for each other.  That’s the reason why I decided to become a family photographer:  moments like these NEED to be captured!
