A beautiful Mamma: check; an adorable little boy: check; perfect weather: check.  What does all of that add up to?  To a great family session!   I had such a great time with these two.  RJ, who was just about to turn 3 is one of the happiest, most energetic and well spoken 3 year olds I’ve met.  During our Pre-Session Consultation this Mom told me that her little guy makes her laugh all the time and I was able to experience his charm first hand!  He was chatting up a storm and cracking me and his Mom up!  He was super easy to work with and definitely loved  the camera.  Kids this age sometimes tend to give cheesy smiles every time they see a camera (I know my own kids do that even now!) and as a photographer I need to pull out a lot of tricks in my arsenal to get genuine smiles and expressions.  I was told that RJ was into cheesy smiles as well but at the session he was absolutely natural; looks like I do know how to put kids at ease:)

This Mom wanted me to capture the special connection she and RJ have and did my best to do that.  She loved the images and said that I captured her son and the relationship they have perfectly.  And to me that’s always the highest praise I can get from a client!

And look at those dimples and sparkly eyes – how handsome is he!
