Can I tell you how much I LOVED this session?  A LOT!  I loved everything about it – seeing one of my favorite Ridgewood families for their annual family photo session and seeing how much their kids have grown, having a pumpkin patch all to ourselves, beautiful light, a perfect fall morning, and capturing new images as well as re-creating some of the images we do with this family year after year.  I cannot say enough how lucky I am that I have great clients like that who come back to me year after year to get their family pictures!

Every time I see these kids I feel so loved!  After the session they asked me if I could go home in THEIR car and I said I was not able to because I had to drive my own car.  They found a solution right away – they asked their MOM to drive my car so that I could go with them:)

Having done a photo session at their house, in a park and in downtown (this is their fourth session with me) we wanted to try something different this year and what can be better than having a fall family photo session at a farm in a pumpkin patch?!  I called local farms (fortunately there are a lot of them around Ridgewood!) and was able to arrange for them to open the place early – just for us.  The weather cooperated, Ms. E choice of an outfit (she is only 3 but has a very strong sense of fashion!) worked very well with our location, and everybody had a blast picking pumpkins and exploring a hay maze!

Now the bar has been set really high – need to find a location that can be this one for their family photo session next year:)  Suggestions anyone? 🙂
