Here is a session spotlight of a family session with one of my favorite Ridgewood families.  Not only they have adorable twin boys (and you know that having twins myself, I am a bit partial to photographing twins) they are very laid back and a pleasure to photograph.  And I LOVE their reaction when they see their images and their finished products!  I remember our first session: the boys were being boys (you cannot really expect two year old twin boys to listen) and the parents were a bit nervous about how the images would come out.  I reassured them that we got beautiful lifestyle images but I did not think they quite believed me.  When they saw the images their reaction was ‘how were you able to capture these beautiful images at OUR session?!”

So when I photographed them again the following year, the boys were being boys and again the Dad was a bit worried about how the images would come out.  But after he saw the images at their in-person ordering session he said something along the lines how he never expected to spend as much as he had on customer photography and me being very expensive but SO worth it!’   Definitely not a typical compliment but I loved it:)

Whenever I come to their home either for a family photo session, for an ordering session or to deliver their products I love seeing images I’ve created on their walls.  I did a couple of spotlights of their walls – one with a beautiful display of three canvases and another – with an equally beautiful large framed and matted print.

And it was really capturing a few of canvases from their first session during their second session!

This family is growing and very shortly they will become a family of five – Yay!.  I am really looking forward to capturing them again this year!
