Being a Bergen County family photographer I  love photographing families in their homes but I  am always up for an adventure.  So when my long time client asked me if we could do their fall family photo session at Pennings Orchard up in Warwick I was super excited!   This turned out to be one of my favorite type of a photoshoot – a family adventure – a photo session that does not feel like a typical photo session – just me capturing a family doing what they love to do  – spending time together doing fun things!  Grandma and Grandpa joined us – the more the merrier right?  These guys picked a whole lot of apples (and ate a few!), found our way through a corn maze, played with tractors and even had some apple sider donuts – all before 11 AM!  If that’s not a fun family photo session then I  don’t know what is!:)

The setting at Pennings Orchard was absolutely stunning, Mother Nature graced us with stunning colors and since it was a weekday it seemed that we had the whole orchard to ourselves!  And the best part for me was watching this little guy, who I ‘ve had the pleasure of photographing since he was just born – running around, picking apples in his little basket, acting like a perfect guide in a corn maze and towards the end – picking out the biggest toy truck from a shelf and carrying it to his Dad, which he of course ended up getting.
