This was my second session photographing adorable Ms. E – first time I met her was for her Ridgewood studio photo session when she was a year old. This was the first time when I photographed this whole family though and it was a blast! These guys chose downtown Ridgewood as a location for their fall family photo session. I’ve said it so many times that Ridgewood is a great little town for Bergen County photo sessions – I have clients come here from all over – Tenafly, Franklin Lakes, Cloister, etc. And for families who live in Ridgewood, like these guys, having a photoshoot in downtown makes it even more special because that’s their town. One year we had our own family session in Ridgewood because it is so cute and I wanted to capture the town of my kids’ childhood in pictures.
This family session was just perfect – the weather was great,Ms. E was absolutely adorable (always on the go!) and the family was so happy and absolutely in love with their little girl. You may think that I only chose images in which they are laughing but that’s how every single image from this session was – genuine laughter and joy of being together!

Can I just say how much I love photographing babies ands toddlers at my Ridgewood photography studio? I may be a tiny bit subjective but I think my studio is perfect for that! It’s got great natural light, comfortable furniture, great colored walls (that photograph really well) and yummy snacks – what else can a toddler possibly want? 🙂 And it is very conveniently located in Bergen county – in Ridgewood right on the border with Hohokus! So if you are looking to do a photo session with your baby and toddler somewhere in Bergen county or Northern New Jersey – definitely check it out:)
I loved meeting this sweet two year old boy for his milestone session. He came with his favorite stuffed animal and his book and was a charm to photograph – I adored his mischievous smiles and his pouty lips:) And I think that an acrylic print his Mom ordered with one of his pictures will look absolutely amazing in their home!

I’ve lived in Ridgewood for over 8 years and I love this town more and more every day. Not only it is a great place to live but it is a wonderful place for family photo sessions! It’s got so many cool spots with colorful doors, green ivy, cool graffiti – it has textures and personalities and truly is a photographer’s dream. No wonder I photograph so many families there:)
These guys came all the way from Hoboken for their family photo session – and they loved what Ridgewood had to offer! I first met them for the little brother G.’s sitting up studio session (you can see it here). They were so wonderful to work with and I was really looking forward to their family session so that I could photograph all four of them. The Mom did a great job picking out outfits, they were early for a session (a huge accomplishment considering that they were driving all the way from Hoboken and had to get not one but TWO young kids ready) and all of them were excited about the session. I had a blast capturing smiles, hugs, giggles, kisses and love them all shared. It was such a great family photo session – if I may say so myself;)

A few weeks ago I met this sweet 3 months old and her parents for a Wyckoff family photo session. Funny coincidence – this family now lives in Upper Saddle River but the Dad lived in California for many years and he called me to arrange for a session when I was on my girls trip in LA!
Most baby sessions my clients hire me for are either newborn sessions or sitting up sessions (at around 8-9 months) or a one year session. But I have to say that there is something to be said about a three months session – babies are definitely NOT newborns any more – they are a lot more aware, chunkier, smilier and interact a lot more with their parents. This was the case with this cute baby N. – she was all smiles and laughter playing with her Mom and Dad. And the parents were absolutely head over heals in love with her – and it was really amazing to witness and to capture.

Eight months is such a great age for sitting up photos and I really enjoy photographing squishy adorable babies at my Bergen County photo studio! I loved loved loved meeting this sweet little guy – who shared a birthday with my niece (you can see her sitting up pictures here). Being a Ridgewood family photographer I’ve photographed a lot of babies and kids over the years but I have to say that I’ve never met a guy who went from sleeping to happy in no time at all! He was sleeping when his Mom brought him to my studio and I was worried that he might be a bit cranky when we woke him up (I am not the happiest camper when people wake me up from a nap). But my worries were completely unfounded – he opened his eyes and did not stop smiling till the end of the session!
Little G. ‘read’ his books, played with his toys and trucks and chewed on everything in sight – and judging from how happy he looks I think he had a pretty great time at his Ridgewood photo shoot:)
