Client display of beautiful canvases from their Ridgewood family photo session

Remember this session? Dad was very interested in creating a display of canvases with images from the session so I helped them design a super cool wall display, which turned out even better than I imagined. Seven gallery wrapped canvases may sounds like a lot but in reality it not – these types of displays capture the ‘feeling’ of a session, something that one or a couple of canvases cannot do. Look how awesome this display is – please never mind the less than perfect image quality, I took a quick snapshot of the display when I helped them hang up last two canvases:

‘Traditionally’ 8x10s have been considered to be ‘large’ prints so whenever people order 16×20 canvases from me they seemed huge. In reality a 16×20 print is not that big when it is up on a wall. See for yourselves – in this display two of the canvases are 16×20 and the largest one is 20×32!

When you invest in a custom family photography session, you will want to show off the images and these displays are my favorite way to do that!

My new addiction

I had a basic cell phone for the longest time – it allowed me to make and receive calls but that was about it. Having the latest and greatest phone was never my ‘thing’ but after my Dad was showing off his cool new smart phone I realized that the time has finally come for me to upgrade. I contemplated briefly between a Droid and an iPhone. There were logical reasons for going with an iPhone – we are an ‘Apple’ household and it made sense to get a phone from the same family of products so that I could easily integrate it with our MacBook, iMac and iPad. But the main reason for me was – and I am not ashamed to admit it – that I wanted to get a cool custom designed phone case . A girl got to accessorize, right? 🙂

So the day after I got my iPhone I designed and ordered a phone case for it. I could barely contain my excitement when it finally arrived and holding my breath, I opened the package. My very high expectations have been exceeded – the case was simply awesome! It is strong and durable and the quality of the print is unbelievable! And of course, since only one will never do, I just ordered another one.

Holiday Cards are here!

I’ve been receiving a lot of requests for holiday cards so I finally sat down and created a few samples. There are five different sets – each with a unique look and feel. I included only a couple of examples for each set but a lot more are available. Colors and text in all these cards can be changed. You can also check out the cards I created last year – they are available this year as well.
