I love shooting during the ‘golden hour’ – an hour or so before the sun sets – when the light is warm and soft and makes everything almost look magical.  I get so mesmerized by it and am absolutely in love with how images turn out.  So of course when it was time to photograph my girls for our holiday cards this year I did it during the golden hour.

We went to a beautiful wooded area at the end of our block; I love how we live so close to the city yet our neighborhood seems worlds away!  It really was a mini-session because they only lasted about 15 minutes.  I knew that they were ‘done’ with me when they grabbed each other’s hands and ran away:)  But despite how short their ‘holiday-session’ was I was able to get a lot of images that I absolutely love and that are so them!
