I love photographing families and babies, love photographing babies who had a newborn session with me even more, love photographing newborns, whose moms had a maternity session with me even more than that.  And if you add to the mix the fact that these guys are some of my ‘bestest’ friends you can see why I love this family photo session as much as I did!

Spring is a wonderful time for a photo-session and one of my favorite places for family sessions in Bergen County – a park in Wyckoff – has a field full of daffodils that are in bloom right now. It looks stunning in images and after starting our session in Ridgewood we drove to that park to capture  spring’s beauty.   We scheduled this session for late afternoon so that I could take advantage of the ‘golden hour’ and take a few backlit images that you’ve been seeing on the blog lately – the weather cooperated and I was able to do that as well!

Baby Anastasia is as cute as can be – I think everybody who sees her wants to cuddle, hug and kiss her – and it took a lot of self-restraint on my part to give her to the parents for the photo-session:)  And she is one of the happiest babies I’ve met – as you can see from the images – smiling her infectious toothy smile at everyone.   And thanks to her ‘personal stylist’ – her Mom – she is also a very stylish baby!  Her Mom and I were talking about outfits for the session  and it took several phone calls/text and email messages to narrow them down – this girl has a wardrobe fit for a princess!

Tim and Elayne are such wonderful, relaxed, easy going and happy parents and I think that it definitely shows in the images!

I love watching Tim and Elayne change from a newly engaged, to newly married, to expecting parents, to new parents and now to parents of a beautiful 9 months old baby girl.  And I am glad that I was able to capture these milestones for them!
