If you are a photographer then chances are that you probably have heard about Michele Anderson of PinkleToes photography.  I’ve been admiring Michele’s work for a couple of years now (and if you checkout her website you can see why!) and that’s why I was barely able to wait to attend her workshop in Austin last week.   And no, a break from the cold and snow in Jersey for a few days, although a nice plus, was not a reason for it:)

My expectations were very high and Michele did not disappoint.   It was amazing to meet her in person – she is one of the nicest and down-to-earth people I’ve met…  I’ve learned a LOT, got to see Michele shoot a couple of sessions (that was awesome!) and left rejuvenated, inspired and ready to take Live Love Laugh Photos to the next level!

But not only was the workshop very informative it was TONS of fun as well.  I got to meet four amazing photographers from all around the country (check out our group shot) and hang out with them for three full days!  We talked about everything under the sun – photography of course, but also pregnancies, kids, movies, books and even favorite SNL skits and YouTube videos🙂  Three days went by so fast and before I knew it – my photography ‘retreat’ was over…. Saying ‘good-byes’ to my new friends was sad but with Facebook and blogs we get to keep in touch and continue to get inspired by each other even though we are in different parts of the country!
