I love photographing Moms and their kids – I find it that in most families Moms are the ones armed with a camera and as result they are rarely in any pictures.  For this reason photographing Moms with their little ones is always very special to me!    And this is one of my favorite families to photograph – if you’ve been following my blog for a while you might recognize them as this is my fourth time photographing this family!   Our first session together -a newborn session –  was 2 years ago when this little beauty was born.  Since then we’ve had several family sessions right here in Ridgewood and in Wyckoff and now was the time for one of the Mommy and Me mini sessions that took place in Ridgewood.

We had this family photo session in Ridgewood – it still amazes me that it is only about 20 miles from the city but feels worlds away – with a cute downtown for ‘urban’ shoots and beautiful ;mini forests’ that are perfect backdrops for park-like photoshoots.

One of the reasons why I love family photography in the first place is because I get to see and capture love and loving connections between kids and their parents – I get to ‘bottle up’ bear hugs, shy grins, belly laughter and huge smiles for my clients for years to come.  And as you can see from the images below, there was an abundance of all of them in this photo shoot:)
