Here is a spotlight of a family session I had a few weeks ago in a park in Wyckoff.  In the sneak peek I did of this session I explained why these guys were so special – they were my very first clients when I started this photography business almost 5 years ago!  It was very special for me to see them again, see how much the boys have grown, how little the parents have changed and to be able to capture their updated non traditional family portraits, which I hope are much better than what I did at their original session:)

Family sessions with repeat clients almost feel like hanging out with friends, rather than working.  Seriously, how did I get so lucky to have found a career that I LOVE, that I am good that, that does not feel like work at all and where I get to spend time with awesome people creating images they love that capture their families?!

These guys were simply AWESOME! – and that’s another thing – how did I get so lucky to have such wonderful clients?  When, during our pre-session consultation, I asked what types of images they wanted me to capture, the Mom told me that she completely trusted my artistic vision and would be happy with anything I did for them.  I knew that they loved non traditional, fun family portraits and that’s precisely what they got:)  It was such a great session and I am thrilled with the beautiful happy family images that resulted from it!
