Quebec through my eyes

I am writing this post as a woman who has been happily married for over TEN years!  Victor and I always go on a mini getaway for our anniversary and since flying to Paris for just 3 nights was not really a feasible option, we opted for Quebec, or as my husband calls it ‘poor man’s Paris’.  We were gone only for four days but what a wonderful little trip it was!  Hard to believe that only 1.5 hour flight away from NYC there is a place that looks and feels SO different, quaint and European.

We stayed at a wonderful hotel, had delicicous meals (including a 3.5 hour/8 course/more-calories-than-I-should-consume-in-a-week/more $$$$ than-I-can-admin-out-loud), slept in, worked out, enjoyed rainy and cold (or as my husband says ‘romantic’) weather, explored Old Quebec, had two private screenings of movies at the hotel’s movie theater, talk about the girls and us, ate hand-made chocolates, listened to performances of street musicians, laughed a lot and were very grateful for Victor’s parents who took care of the girls while we were gone:)

I tried not spend every singe minute taking pictures and as result there were just a bit of 100 images from the trip -a record low for me!  And somehow I ended up with a lot of images of Victor, which does not happen often.  I guess it is appropriate that he was the main subject of most of my images on this 10 year wedding anniversary celebration trip!
