Awww how I love maternity sessions and photographing glowing mamas-to-be!  I get to meet the nicest and sweetest people while doing what I love for a living – how awesome is that!

I knew I would hit it off with this mama-to-be from our very first phone conversation when she contacted me regarding her maternity and newborn session.   Melissa (or ‘Big M’ as she calls herself) is funny and the way she described herself made me laugh out loud:)  And when it came to her pregnancy portraits (she opted for a mini maternity session which we did in a park in Wyckoff) she was up for anything: sit on the grass? – sure!  lie down – absolutely!  – as long as I helped her get up:)   She has the most contagious laughter, a beautiful smile and was radiating so much love for ‘little m’ (how cute is that nickname she and her husband came up with!) that I could hardly stand the excitement and now cannot wait to meet ‘little M’ for his or hew newborn portraits session!

Melissa has such a cute dimple on her left cheek (she said that her brother has it on his right cheek!) – I wonder if little M. will be blessed with it – we will find out soon enough!
